About Me

About Miss Krnjaic:

My name is Miss Krnjaic (Miss K) and I am the 4th and 5th grade learning support teacher! This will be my second year teaching learning support at Nye Elementary, and I am so excited to continue our journey together in Room 219!

The upcoming 2023-2024 school year will be a lot of fun! We will start a fresh year off where we will learn lots of fun new things in many different ways!

Here are a few things about me:

- I began my teaching journey after college as a substitute teacher in the Lancaster county area. I started long-term subbing for about 5 months in a first grade classroom and we had a blast!

- I grew up in a town called Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

- I graduated from Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School in 2017. Go Wildcats!

- I received my Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Millersville University in December of 2021.

- I am currently getting my Masters in Educational Leadership from York College of Pennsylvania! 

Hobbies:

Walking/hiking, reading, watching football (Eagles, Steelers, and PSU) or basketball (76ers), playing sports, dancing or teaching dance, and hanging with family and friends.

I cant wait to learn more about you this school year! I look forward to finding out what hobbies you have. :)
