What will we do in 4th grade?

We have a lot of new topics to learn about this year. In math, we learn multiplication and division, fractions, decimals, and many more topics! In reading and writing, we practice finding details, writing about what we read, and putting it all together. We will also learn so much in science, social studies, and health! It is my goal to work on problem-solving with my students academically and socially, too.

As a fourth grader, you are becoming a leader and role model in our school. Make sure you remember your Nye PRIDE. PERSEVERE and keep going when things get tough. RESPECT your fellow classmates and teachers, and be responsible for yourself. Have INTEGRITY and always do the right thing. Be DISCIPLINED and focus on your job as a student: to learn. Always strive for EXCELLENCE, which means being the best you that you can be!

We travel to Philadelphia for our field trip at the end of the year. We will also become a living famous Wax Museum person!

I cannot wait to take on 4th grade with you! 😁
